Meet Bryson Cole

Bryson Cole breaks down his artistry and what's next to come..

We love to discover new christian creatives and are so happy we had a chance to interview this artist. We asked Bryson Cole a few short questions about his artistry and what to expect next. Here's what he had to say..

Every artist has a unique story. Can you tell us a little about yours?

"From a young age, I’ve had a passion for drawing and writing. It wasn’t until high school that I discovered my love for rap and the competitive spirit it brought out in me. Despite initially struggling and receiving criticism for my music, it fueled a determination in me to improve and push myself even further."..

Please tell us about your art. What do you do / make / create? How? Why? What’s the message or inspiration, what do you hope people take away from it?

"I produce music aimed at the everyday person, with a focus on sharing the message of Christ, particularly with those who may have reservations about spirituality. My aim is to comfort and inspire individuals through music, particularly those seeking motivation and solace."..

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?

"You can discover my music on all major streaming platforms. My latest album, "No More Love," is available now, and I'm incredibly eager for listeners to experience it. This album serves as therapeutic listening for anyone grappling with relationship issues, whether it's with family, friends, or a partner. I aim for the concept of shedding one's ego to resonate strongly throughout this album."..

When and why did you start playing/making music?

"I started creating music because I felt all the music being created at the time had zero substance. I always felt like music was missing important messages and themes and sought out to be that artist.."..

Tell us a little about your faith journey and how you came to give your life to Jesus?

"I was brought up in the Baptist faith and underwent my first baptism at the age of 10. However, it wasn't until I turned 20 that I wholeheartedly committed my life to Christ. I made this decision because I sensed a disconnect within my spirit and recognized that I lacked a genuine relationship with God. Through delving into conspiracy theories and observing the darker aspects of the music industry, I became acutely aware of the reality of evil. Witnessing the darkness in the world affirmed to me the existence of God's goodness, compelling me to prioritize and deepen my relationship with Him."..

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?

"Additionally, I am a business owner, running BCgraphix, a graphic design company. Through BCgraphix, I specialize in crafting artwork, logos, and animations for renowned rappers, brands, and organizations.."..

How do you balance your music with other obligations - significant other, children, job etc? Are you full time music?

"Balancing relationships and prioritizing family over work can be a tricky feat, but i've learned over the years everything has its time and place. God first, wife is second, passions like art and music are third"..

What advice would you give up and coming independent artists?

"My advice to emerging artists is to embrace uniqueness and recognize that success doesn't adhere to a singular formula. Dare to innovate and explore uncharted territory, venturing into creative territories you've never witnessed before.."..

What can we expect next from you?

"NO More Love!!! That’s the album, the brand, and the motto for a while. No more love for the pride and ego, we’re evolving as people and as men of faith! I want people to peep the album and stay tuned for vinyls, merch, and more music videos.."
