What inspired this song?
“I Am Yours is a song that celebrates the identity of every believer in Christ. The creation process of the song began during a rehearsal session, where I randomly started playing the melody of the chorus on the piano. From there, the song took shape, and I got inspired to write the lyrics to the music after reflecting on the truth of being a child of God and the boundless joy and freedom that comes with knowing it."..
What do you hope the listener takes away from the song?
"Listeners can expect to have an immersive experience as they listen to the song: The vocals are provided by an ensemble of professional singers who blend seamlessly, the groove is funky, and I layer my ad-libs on it all to bring the energy and emotion. The standout feature of the song is its message, which urges listeners to embrace their identity in Christ wholeheartedly. In the outro, I leave an encouraging note, reminding listeners, “You are God’s child; don’t let them tell you you’re not!"..
What can we expect next from you?
"This song is one of the other songs from my upcoming album which I hope to release fully next year. But in the coming months, I will be releasing a few more singles from the album as a way of creating awareness around my music."
