Meet Tbroglyphix

Tbroglyphix breaks down his artistry and what's next to come..

We love to discover new music and are so happy we had a chance to interview this artist. We asked Tbroglyphix a few short questions about his artistry and what to expect next. Here's what he had to say..

Every artist has a unique story. Can you tell us a little about yours?

"I grew up in a small town called Morristown, Tennessee. I moved to a few different places and in the past eight months, I decided to relocate back to my roots to be closer to friends and family. Within the past 5 years, I’ve had some events in my life happen that has drawn me closer to God and audio therapy that has turned into my Christian Hip Hop project known as TBROglyphix."..

When and why did you start playing/making music?

"I create the music and the lyrics in this project. Anytime that I have felt grief, doubt, depressed or being lost, I always turned to music and writing my thoughts down. I’ve always found a way to express myself through music and lyrics with God driving the paper and the pen that has built the foundation of my life through art. For awhile, I kept the music to myself and over the past couple of years God has shown me that I need to share my stories and journey with music to others. This music has pulled me out of a hole that I couldn’t imagine at one time to get out of and I did. I needed to share my art in hopes it will do the same for someone else like it did for me."..

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work? What's the best way to support you as an artist?

"You can find three singles currently available on all music platforms including Spotify and ITunes. You can also find me on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook all under the name TBROglyphix"..

When and why did you start playing/making music?

"I started playing guitar at the age of 13. Over the years I’ve learned to play drums, bass and keyboard as well. I always enjoyed rock music growing up and that got me into music. Throughout the years I started listening to more hip hop and Christian hip hop. I always thought about doing a hip hop project over the years and that came into fruition strongly the past few years. As I learned to play instruments and more about music, it had shown me a way that I could express myself freely in different ways than anything else."..

Tell us a little about your faith journey and how you came to give your life to Jesus?

"I was saved in my home church Cherokee Hills Baptist in Morristown at the age of 7. About 11 years ago, I was involved in a car crash where my truck hit a telephone pole and flipped four times. Looking at the scene, it was mind boggling to even imagine I was still alive. At the time, I did not have the best relationship with God and going through that rekindled my faith and showed me I wasn’t alone in this world. Since then my relationship with God has continued to be stronger and stronger. That’s why I continue to represent the kingdom within my music. I wouldn’t be able to share my gifts without his Grace."..

LATEST SINGLE “Ghost Town" off his upcoming album dropping July 8th, 2022. Follow Tbroglyphix on Spotify to keep up!

What advice would you give up and coming independent artists?

"There will always be critics out there or someone that has a different opinion about your music than you. Always strive to improve and don’t let that get you down. I used to worry about what people thought or is it good enough. At the end of the day, I had to realize that the reason behind the music was for a greater purpose and that’s serving Jesus Christ. If I can save one person with this music or brighten someone’s day then I have lived my purpose."..

Are you planning on staying independent as an artist? What's the next move?

"I do this music for my God and for fun. I will continue to cook up music in my studio. As for the next move is releasing the debut full length HIEROglyphix on July 8th this year."
