What inspired this song?
"I wrote 'April Fools' Day' time during a difficult time in my life. It was intended as a little message of hopefulness for myself and I never actually planned on releasing it, until I saw that April 1st was going to be a Friday this year. Since music is generally released on Fridays, I took it as a sign to put the song out after all!"..
What do you hope the listener takes away from the song?
"Even though 'April Fools' Day' is essentially a song about heartbreak, I hope that people will take away some encouragement from it. Imagery around the annual cycle plays an important role in the lyrics and the song draws this one comparison between the seasons of the year and the seasons that we go through in our lives: Even the coldest winter will be over at some point and no matter how dark days might get, eventually, it will be spring again."..
What can we expect next from you?
"I am currently working on my debut EP which will be released in the summer! I'm so excited to be working on my first bigger music project and can't wait to share it with the world very soon."
